Friday 14th October, 2016 3:23PM

This week in tour news Scottish musician Midge Ure (of Ultravox, Visage, Rich Kids et al) announced a seven-date tour around New Zealand where he'll performing a selection of songs from across his 40 year career. The Go-Betweens co-founder Robert Forster will be jumping the ditch for two shows on these shores next month. Australian alt-country artist Julia Jacklin announced a solo Auckland date which will come roughly a month ahead of her appearance at Laneway Festival. And after selling out her Friday night show Peaches has added a second Wellington date to her upcoming NZ tour.

In release news, we were thrilled to present the DIY video from Wellington's Hex for their incredible new single 'The Moon'. Auckland hip hop duo Badcrop caught our attention with their piano-driven cut 'Dig That' which showed up on Soundcloud. And some great streams came out of the woodwork - Auckland garage-surf trio X-Ray Fiends let loose their long awaited four-song EP. Princess Chelsea lifted the lid on her covers album Aftertouch. And further abroad, Japanese post-rock outfit Mono shared a stream of their five-track offering Requiem For Hell, which is being officially unveiled today.

This week's Caught Live is King Loser as captured by Dylan Herkes on the Wellington leg of their recent Comeback Special '16 tour...
