Listen: Moses - Lose Like You Love
A woozy new single has emerged from Wellington group Moses as they prepare to release their sophomore album later this month. Due to drop on 15th February, the upcoming LP was largely recorded in a farm cottage in rural New Zealand. According to the group, the album was inspired by the music of George Harrison and The Jesus and Mary Chain, and "follows an arc of trying to come to terms with an age of comfort, yet simmering discontent", while the remote location added to the vibe of the recording - as the band explain in a statement: "The isolated environment in which it was created feeds and provides context to these lyrical and musical themes, as ambient sound drifts in and out of each track." Take a listen to 'Lose Like You Love' below...
Moses are celebrating the release of their new album with a show at Caroline in Wellington on 17th February, and in Auckland at the Whammy Backroom on 18th February.
