Live Photos: Neurosis - Kings Arms Tavern, Auckland

After more than 30 years together, Californian post-metal trailblazers Neurosis finally made their way to New Zealand for two highly-anticipated shows this week. The five-piece came on the coattails of their eleventh studio album Fires Within Fires, but the shows delved into their back-catalogue to deliver a set of huge songs that culminated in a transcendental experience that will surely echo in the souls of showgoers for some time to come. Photographer Oliver Crawford went along to last night's show at Kings Arm's Tavern to capture the sonic madness, which was supported by locally based outfit Old Loaves.
