Premiere: The All Seeing Hand Unveil Video For 'Live Specimens' + Announce Australian Tour

Wellington mind-melters The All Seeing Hand are letting loose a new video for 'Live Specimens' as they reveal a raft of dates for their Australian Sand To Glass LP release tour. The video was cut together by filmmaker Dan Harris, who also directed the unnerving video for 'Cro-Magnon Corp', but for this visual extravaganza Harris has crowd-sourced footage captured at live shows all over New Zealand and Australia during the last five years - digging through many (many, many) hours of video from 14 different sources to create an ocular celebration of past encounters as the band embark on a journey into "new territory and unknown ecosystems". Elaborating on the clip, bandmember Jonny Marks writes:

"In the full flight of ritual gathering we see all involved in the flow of metamorphosis. As real time is fluid so too is the focus of band and audience in a symbiotic dance that bends light and sound. To describe the All Seeing Hand live shows the limit of language; Live Specimens bridges the gulf between experience and memory."

'Live Specimens' is lifted from Sand To Glass, which is being released on vinyl in Australia 31st March, with the 10-date tour across the ditch kicking off mid-April. The All Seeing Hand have embarked on three whirlwind Australian tours previously, but the upcoming venture sees the trio with more time up their collective sleeves, and as a result they have some special collaborations planned. In the North, they are colluding with breakcore maniac Toecutter on an epic show at the Nimbin Bush Theatre. In Tasmania they're collaborating with Maile Bird and a bunch of local artists to on a spectacular show at the ghost-infested Brisbane Hotel. And in Melbourne they're plotting something special at The Curtin with Pablo Andres of Bone Soup (and Mesa Cosa).
