Premiere: Hex Let Loose Tempestuous Video For 'Page Of Pentacles'

Thursday 20th April, 2017 1:00PM

Currently in the midst of a 10-date tour across the Tasman, witchy Wellingtonian triumvirate Hex have taken a moment to unveil a brilliant homegrown video for their latest single 'Page Of Pentacles'. The occult-themed clip was conjured up by bandmembers Kiki and GG Van Newton and stars their friend Strange Stains as the beleaguered Page to whom the song's title refers. Elaborating on the video's creation, Kiki told UTR:

"The video was filmed in against the backdrop of Naenae hills in-between two large storm fronts. Strange Stains stars as the Page of Pentacles, whose inner psyche comes to life in a confronting form. The video is an allegory for a flatmate gone wrong, and an ode for all of us who are confronting our own inner workings. Sometimes it feels safer to run away, but our psyche remains wherever we go."

'Page Of Pentacles' is the latest offering from the trio's forthcoming debut album Past, Present and Future The Hill Temple. Watch the clip, and if you're in Australia over the next week-and-a-bit check out the remaining tour dates below...
