Total Control's Mikey Young Shares Synth-Driven New Single 'Lord Barrel'

When Melbourne post-punk group Total Control released their sophomore record Typical System in 2014 it quickly became a UTR office favourite, so we're psyched to see guitarist Mikey Young has a side-project on the go. Young, who has also played with the likes of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Ooga Boogas and Lace Curtain, has been toiling away in the studio and cooking up synth-driven compositions that will feature on his solo record Your Move Vol.1 which is out next month via American label Moniker Records as part of their 'Synthtastic Solo Series For Humans 8+'.
