Watch The Orwellian Video For 'East Of Seddon' By Hiboux

Wednesday 19th July, 2017 10:33AM

Wellington-based post rock crew Hiboux have dropped a video for their track ‘East Of Seddon’, which nods thoroughly toward the classic George Orwell novel 1984. The video shows a futuristic dystopia amidst a dreary concrete jungle where office workers are slaves to pushing paper. The protagonist, played by Anna Rzhevitskaya, then discovers music via a record player and has her mind set free. The video was cooked up by production outfit Sonder and 'East Of Seddon' is lifted from Hiboux's debut album Command The Earth To Swallow Me Up. Check it out...

If you're reading this from Australia, you can catch Hiboux playing in Sydney and Melbourne this week...

Thursday 20th July, Frankie's Pizza, Sydney
Friday 21st July, The Townie, Sydney
Saturday 22nd July, The Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar, Melbourne
