Stream Magic Factory's Debut Record 'Working With Gold'

After a year of serving up killer live shows Auckland's Magic Factory have now dished up their debut full-length album Working With Gold. Bringing together a melting pot of influences from America's golden era of rock (think Creedance Clearwater Revival, The Band and Dr. Hook) the album sees the already expansive group joined by back-up singers Cherie Mathieson and Caoimhe Macfehin (Queen Neptune, Drab Doo-Riffs) on several songs, and Bruce Lynch plays pedal steel on 'Quit Dancing with My Heart'. Working With Gold is available on vinyl through local label 1:12 Records or you can pick it up in person at their record release show tomorrow evening at Whammy Bar.
