Auckland's Groove Lagoon Drop Hazy Tune 'Blurry Eyed'

Auckland rockers Groove Lagoon have dropped a new tune titled 'Blurry Eyed', the lead single from a forthcoming sophomore EP which is due to drop in March. The song is a sonic whirlpool of wah-ed guitars, dive-bombing bass and impassioned singing, you may have caught the four-piece in action playing alongside rock'n'roll brothers-in-arms Racing at their recent Christmas Party at Auckland's Kings Arms Tavern. We checked in with the band who shared the origins of their single, they said "(The song) came together all pretty quickly after the initial sonic idea had been laid down, with the lyrical themes being developed during one of (singer) Joel's hazy Saturday mornings."
