Beach House Unveil Haunting Video 'Black Car'
Baltimore duo Beach House's latest album 7 dropped last month and it already looks to be an end-of-year favourite, garnering widespread acclaim for arguably their best record yet. They've now shared a noir-ish new clip for single 'Black Car', casting the song's electronic dream-pop against minimal yet melodramatic imagery of a lone driverless car roaming the streets at night. While futurists say such vehicles will soon be the norm, this clip directed by Alistair Legrand conveys much less assuring feelings, recalling the spooky vibes of Stephen King and John Carpenter's haunted car classic Christine. If you're getting deja vu that's because the song was originally released in May accompanied by a buzzy visualiser clip, watch the new video for 'Black Car' here...
'7' is out now via Sub Pop.
