Berlin-based experimental duo Hackedepicciotto (Alexander Hacke of Einstürzende Neubauten and Danielle de Picciotto) are currently wending their way around New Zealand on an eagerly anticipated nationwide tour, presented by facilitators of left-of-field events the Audio Foundation. The group kicked off their wintery jaunt with a Wednesday performance at Auckland's Whammy Bar, with support from local neo-industrial ne'er-do-wells Ave Teth for a mind-expanding evening of auditory exploration. Hackedepicciotto's tour continues this weekend at Christchurch's Space Academy and Dunedin's Captain Cook.
