Wednesday 18th July, 2018 12:06PM
Acclaimed Auckland-based songwriter Lawrence Arabia aka James Milne has shared ‘Cecily’, the sixth instalment and halfway point of his 2018 Singles Club. The tidy two-minute number is a short and sweet dose of 60s psych-pop goodness featuring Alistair Deverick (aka Boycrush) on drums, with Milne fielding all other instruments. The award-winning songsmith describes his new tune as “a light escapist relief from the relentless daily newsreel of horrors,” check it out here...
Catch Lawrence Arabia’s collaborative project Fabulous / Arabia on the road next week, at Wellington’s Meow on Friday 27th July and at Hastings’ Common Room on Saturday 28th July. Head over here for tickets and more info.
