The Miltones Unveil Breathtaking Video 'Disappear'
Auckland folk-rock group The Miltones have shared a breathtakingly beautiful clip for their tear-jerking latest single ‘Disappear’. The acclaimed band picked up the Auckland Live Best Independent Debut 2018 award at this year’s Taite Music Prize presentation, which led to their use of Auckland's The Civic Theatre as the lush historical backdrop for ‘Disappear’. The visuals were directed by Charlotte Evans, who also created Aldous Harding’s iconic music video for 'Horizon'. The Miltones lead singer Milly Tabak shared the kaupapa around the creation of ‘Disappear’...
“We wanted to celebrate [women’s] voice and contribution in the surrounding industries. Part of the goal was to also work with other women who were friends of the band, and create a project in which everybody played an integral part”.
The Miltones will be supporting Tami Neilson on her 'Sassafrass' tour of New Zealand, which starts this week. For more details, head over HERE.
