
Steve Gunn Returning To New Zealand In October
Brooklyn-based guitar-slinger Steve Gunn has announced he will be returning to Aotearoa in October, playing in Auckland with Arthur Ahbez and Wellington with Michael James Keane, as well as supporting Dunedin musical icons The Chills in Whangarei and Waiheke Island. It seems the former Kurt Vile guitarist can't stay away from Aotearoa, having visited our shores just last year.

Hot on the heels of a critically lauded 2017 visit to New Zealand, New York-based guitarist, songwriter and Matador Records artist, Steve Gunn returns returns for four solo shows across the country. One festival performance, one headline show, and two supports for iconic Dunedin pop minstrels The Chills.
With a career spanning nearly fifteen years, Steve Gunn has produced volumes of critically acclaimed solo, duo, and ensemble recordings. His albums represent milestones of contemporary guitar-driven material, and forward thinking songwriting. Steve has steadily processed his inspirations into a singular, virtuosic stream.
