Bad Sav Announce Self-Titled Debut Album + Share Single 'Hens Teeth'

Tuesday 28th August, 2018 9:48AM

Dunedin noise-rockers Bad Sav have unveiled 'Hens Teeth', the lead single from their long-awaited self-titled debut album out this September. Featuring the combined talents of Death and the Maiden's Hope Robertson and Lucinda King (who are playing at this Friday's The Others Way festival in Auckland), along with drummer Mike McLeod (Shifting Sands) on the new song, Bad Sav are more of a guitar-driven beast than their popular electronic-oriented sister act. 'Hens Teeth' sees the band laying down thick fields of fuzzy distortion over muscular percussion, while Robertson and King's vocals glide above the swirling sonic storm below. Ten years in the making, there'll be a few familiar favourites in the mix, with previous releases 'Labradoodle' and 'Buy Something New' also set to feature on the ten track collection. Listen up to 'Hens Teeth' here...

'Bad Sav' is out Friday 21st September on vinyl, CD and digital via Fishrider Records.
