Auckland guitar-slinger and visual artist Roy Irwin recently dropped by the ever-accomodating studios of Zac Arnold's weekly Freak The Sheep show to bust out a pair of tunes, 'Jesus Sleeps' from his killer latest album King Of Pop, and 'Red' from the songwriter's classic 2010 collection 3,2,1,2000. Along with his incandescent solo work, Irwin has been tearing up stages with local hellraisers Cindy, who you can catch playing alongside cyber-pop star Princess Chelsea at 95bFM's upcoming Drive Island event at Ellen Melville Centre on Friday 19th October. Vibe out to excellent footage of the fur-wearing artist looking not unlike a guitar playing sasquatch in action here...
'King Of Pop' is out now on vinyl via 1:12 Records.
