Live Photos: The Chills, Tiny Ruins - The Globe Theatre, Palmerston North

Dunedin music legend Martin Phillipps' long-running group The Chills hit the stage at Palmerston North's Globe Theatre on Saturday, with support from recent Milk! Records (Courtney Barnett's label) signee Tiny Ruins, aka Holly Fullbrook performing sans band on this occasion. The Chills are currently in the midst of an extensive nationwide tour celebrating the release of their sparkling new album Snow Bound, which Phillipps recently spoke about in-depth with Wellington electronic artist Stef Animal here. The influential band's tour marches onwards to Auckland and Whangarei this coming weekend, while Tiny Ruins will soon embark on their own whiplash tour of Aotearoa in October and November.
