Auckland's Draulicht Drop Destructive Debut 'Demo 2018'

Auckland-based sludge / doom four-piece Draulicht have shared their down-tempo, downer-buzz debut, titled Demo 2018. The three-track, twenty four and a half minute opus is densely-packed with Burning Witch-esque howls, all-encompassing fuzzed out bass and guitar and snail-paced minor pentatonic riffs. The tunes remain gut-wrenchingly punishing from slower-burner starter ‘Ixion’ to the insistent throwdown groove of ‘Shrine Of Agony’ to the feedback-ladden ‘Cotard Delusion’.
