Caught Live: Cash Guitar Play Three Songs On Radio One 91FM
King Loser guitarist and singer Chris Heazlewood recently reactivated his long-running Cash Guitar project for a whirlwind sonic rampage across Aotearoa in May and even snuck out some wig-flipping new tunes on the side. Heazlewood and his live crew also dropped by the studios of Dunedin student radio station Radio One 91FM to run through a fifteen minute, dirgey surf-noise set, including recent single 'hocus pocus' and a cover of a track by sadly departed local legend Peter Gutteridge's band Snapper. The set delivered more fuzzed-out licks, mystic pronouncements and thundering rhythms than one mind can handle, succumb to electrifying footage of Cash Guitar's live to air performance here...
