Tiny Ruins Announces New Album 'Olympic Girls' + Shares Title Track
If you were paying close attention to our recent short interview with Hollie Fullbrook, the songwriting force behind Tiny Ruins, you may have spotted a sly reference to a forthcoming album in the works. Fullbrook has now revealed that her third studio collection Olympic Girls is indeed completed and set for release this February, and shared the sumptuous, folk-tinged title track for the record. That single is accompanied by a stunning video directed by Charlotte Evans, depicting Fullbrook strolling along a lush coastal landscape singing her push / pull tale. Fullbrook and her Tiny Ruins band featuring Cass Basil, Alex Freer (A.C. Freazy) and Tom Healy performed at Christurch's Blue Smoke last night, and are currently in the midst of a whiplash tour of Aotearoa, playing at the Nelson Arts Festival tonight and in Auckland and Wellington in early November. Scope out the tour details and experience 'Olympic Girls' below...
