Blair Parkes + Cardigan Bay Share Single 'Lost Direction'

New Brighton-based songwriter Blair Parkes (The L.E.D.s, all fall down, the letter 5) has returned with a guitar-drenched tune titled ‘lost direction’ recorded in collaboration with his band Cardigan Bay, whose lineup for this recording features Ryan Chin, Luke Sole, Ben Baird and Hayden Sharp. The summery single is the first from the group’s forthcoming album little rapids, which Parkes describes as “the sunny morning answer to that perennial 4am question, ‘what am I doing with me life?’” The whimsical new song was recorded concurrently with Parkes’ fuzzed-out student radio hit 'heavy lifting' from his recent solo album always running, open your ears to ‘lost direction’ here...
