Pussy Riot & Friends Mini FemFest Announced

Monday 25th February, 2019 10:04AM

Fresh from bringing their headline-grabbing Riot Days audio-visual spectacular to Auckland's Town Hall on Friday and a sneak attack performance at Splore Festival 2019 over the weekend, a "surprise mini FemFest" featuring Russian punk-pop provocateurs Pussy Riot has been announced to take place at Pah Homestead in early March. Lineup info is yet to be revealed, but the multi-media event promises main stage performances on the lawn of the historic arts centre, electronic music spaces, panel discussions, talks / Q and A's, film, art workshops and performance art pieces, along with a special menu of Russian food available at the Pah cafe. The organisers state the festival will feature local performers, artists and creative activists, and will help raise funds towards the socially conscious crew's extra costs incurred due to Brazil event cancellations and flight delays due to visa issues. Keep it locked for more info and check out the details disclosed so far here...
