Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O and US studio kingpin Danger Mouse have unveiled their collaborative album Lux Prima, following a red hot trio of singles, 'Woman', 'Turn The Light' and the title track, as well as previous joint collabs with NYC post-punks Parquet Courts and Italian composer Daniele Luppi. Danger Mouse provides a stylish backdrop of 60s smooth soul grooves, hip-shaking garage pop and cinematic exotica on top of which Karen O, in very fine voice throughout the record, works her magic. Riddled with instantly catchy hooks, Lux Prima draws listeners deep into the pair's synergetic retro-futuristic world of luxury and melodrama – hear for yourself below...
