Finn Andrews Shares Debut Solo Album 'One Piece At A Time'
Finn Andrews of Devonport rock trailblazers The Veils has shared the first ever album released under his own name One Piece At A Time, ahead of an extensive tour of Aotearoa kicking off this weekend at WOMAD New Zealand 2019 Festival. The sumptuously arranged collection of heartbroken piano-led, orchestral pop ballads was co-produced by Tiny Ruins member Tom Healy at Auckland's The Lab and features instrumental contributions from Cass Basil, Alex Freer (both also of Tiny Ruins), Reb Fountain and Nina Siegler on backing vocals, and emotionally stirring string arrangements by Victoria Kelly, with standouts including the woozy, bar-propping melodrama of album closer 'Don't Close Your Eyes'. Andrews' nationwide tour with his band is taking him up and down the country in March and April, with a good proportion of shows supported by the award-winning Fountain.
