The original soundtrack for New Zealand love story Daffodils has been unveiled, featuring re-imaginings of classic local tunes by Silver Scroll winning duo LIPS (Stephanie Brown and Fen Ikner), created in collaboration with the film's leads, Hamilton-born pop star Kimbra, iZombie star Rose McIver and George Mason (Home and Away). The new collection showcases covers of The Mint Chicks, Chris Knox, Bic Runga and more, along with a medley of Blam Blam Blam's ‘There Is No Depression In New Zealand’ smooshed together with Darcy Clay's ‘Jesus I Was Evil’, plus two new tracks made by LIPS and Kimbra.
