Listen To Schofield Strangelove's Romantic Collection '1800EACHWAY'
Enigmatic Auckland songsmith / producer Schofield Strangelove has unveiled a six track collection of stellar slow jams released via adventurous new independent imprint NOA Records, run by production wizard WhyFi., who also recently released a showcase of the super city's improvised music community titled 151 K RD: IMPROV. Schofield Strangelove's 1800EACHWAY sounds like it was delivered from another universe on a disintegrating C30 cassette tape, laying down the smoothest of funk grooves as a firm foundation for the artist's sensual flow. Highlights include the cry yourself to sleep dreaminess of 'LONELY', 'LOUSYLOVER's intoxicating blend of addled loops and sharp as a pin rhymes, and the title track's haunted romance. Climb aboard Schofield Strangelove's love train and succumb to 1800EACHWAY here...
