Listen To Dateline's Single ‘If You Want It’
Auckland indie-pop supergroup Dateline have released a new single ‘If You Want It’ - and yes, we do want it (more music from Dateline). Frontperson Katie Everingham (former drummer for The Beths) wrote and sings on the moody track, with drums from past band member Elizabeth Stokes (The Beths), guitar from Robert Bruce, and Ruby Walsh (Trip Pony, Dunes) on bass. In ’If You Want It’ Everingham is putting the ball in your court, with steady, decisive guitar. The final chorus takes the listener from level-headed to fiery, as harmonies from Walsh, Stokes and Bruce crescendo under Everingham’s vocals. Although there haven't been any shows announced at this stage, rehearsals are underway with the latest line-up featuring Priya Sami (Trip Pony, The Sami Sisters), Hariet Ellis (Vincent H.L, Bozo) and Callum Devlin (Hans Pucket, Onono). The band has big plans for more single releases in 2019 and if we're lucky, a full length album. Give Dateline a listen here...
