Auckland / Thames duo Queen Neptune played a storming live set on Friday, with the team of Caoimhe Macfehin and Karl Steven delivering their futuristic and thought-provoking electronic tunes to a very up for it Whammy Bar crowd. Macfehin has now made available the first ever single under the anagram-loving solo moniker of Maochie Femchain. Sharing sonic space with Queen Neptune's recent singles 'Edge of the Programmed World' and 'UtopiaPlus', 'To The Oracle' is a pulsing dream-pop anthem, with moments touching on similar sublime territory to South Island avant-pop trailblazer Cloudboy. Macfehin hinted there's more good stuff on the way from her new project...

'...To the Oracle is written and recorded at home, and finished off in the Queen Neptune Lab. The song is about wanting to do good but not knowing how, and it's hopefully going to be followed up by more songs later in the year.'
