The Raconteurs Unveil Single 'Bored And Razed' + Video
Jack White's The Raconteurs recently reemerged after eight years of dormancy with an electrifying set at Auckland's The Powerstation in April, the Grammy-winning group's first ever performance in Aotearoa. While the US foursome are still tearing it up on a seemingly endless global tour, they're also getting their ducks in a row for the imminent release of Help Us Stranger, the first studio album from The Raconteurs since 2008's Consolers Of The Lonely. They've unfurled the massively anticipated record's rowdy latest single 'Bored and Razed', paying lyrical tribute to the band's Detroit roots and accompanied by a meditative, colour-strobing lyric video. While the cube-like confines of a contemporary art gallery environment might not be the first thing that pops into your mind of when you think of untamed garage rock action, the artfully presented clip definitely generates its own energy – experience 'Bored and Razed' here...
'Help Us Stranger' is out Friday 21st June via Third Man Records.
