Blair Parkes Shares New Album 'Liveable City'

Ōtautahi songwriter and visual artist Blair Parkes (Saturations, All Fall Down, Cardigan Bay, The Letter 5) has followed up his superbly fuzz-drenched single 'Habit To Break' with an album of new tunes named Liveable City, again joined by vocalist Miss Mercury and the drumming skills of Ryan Chin. Almost entirely recorded in Parkes' shed in New Brighton and "written on the couch" over the past year, the collection's rich sonics belie Liveable City's home-recorded DIY roots, with dreamy reverbed vocals and intoxicating shoegazey guitars delivering the goods over propulsive rhythmic grooves – warm up your winter by listening to the whole album here and watch a brand new clip for 'Habit To Break' below...
