Pōneke garage-pop project girlboss have dropped sparkly, fuzzy song 'Bully', the first release since bassist Douglas Kelly remixed the title track of their 2018 EP Body Con. The new tipple is bass, snare and cymbal heavy, creating a melancholy buzz that sounds like the feeling of static on an old glass TV screen. 'Bully' is heavier and denser than their 5-track 2018 collection, but shares the same lilting, heartfelt vocals from songwriter and guitarist Lucy Botting.
