Thom Yorke Shares Single 'Daily Battles' Feat. Flea
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has joined forces with his Atoms For Peace bandmate, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea for a song created for upcoming feature film Motherless Brooklyn, Edward Norton's adaptation of the acclaimed Jonathan Lethem novel of the same name. More sonically restrained than Yorke's new solo album ANIMA and his synth-soaked soundtrack for Luca Guadagnino's 2018 Suspiria remake, the haunting single presents the UK artist in bruised ballad mode, complimented by cascading keys and delicate horns arranged by Flea.'Daily Battles' is out now on 7" vinyl backed with an alternate take on the same tune, recorded by US jazz figurehead Wynton Marsalis with Joe Farnsworth, Russell Hall, Isaiah J. Thompson, and Jerry Weldon – listen to both versions here...
Thom Yorke's new solo album 'ANIMA' is out now on all formats including limited edition vinyl via XL Recordings / Rhythmethod.
