Experience Lips' Video For 'Guilty Talk'

Silver Scroll-winning pop maestros Lips (Stephanie Brown and Fen Ikner) have popped the cork on a new video and standalone single 'Guilty Talk'. Having spent much of the last five years scoring music for hit play Daffodils (and it’s recent film adaptation), the Kody Neilson-mixed 'Guilty Talk' is something of a comeback for Lips. Brooding and biting over a skittish back and forth between drums and synth, the track is a call to reexamine and challenge your assumptions. The video is directed by Maria-Ines Manchego and shot entirely on Super 8 in the streets of Tokyo. It follows the angst of two dancers and (Lips fans will be pleased to note) features a couple of cameos from Lips’ titular papier-mâché lips on legs. 'Guilty Talk' is also accompanied by the welcome announcement that Lips are currently working on their debut full-length due for release in April 2020 – watch the video right here...
