Nick Cave Announces New Double Album 'Ghosteen'

Nick Cave has casually revealed via his website The Red Hand Files that there's a brand new double album from the famed Melburnian songsmith and his long-running group The Bad Seeds titled Ghosteen set for release next week. The recent visitor to our shores dropped the information bomb about his first studio record since 2016's Skeleton Tree via the Q & A section of his site, and unveiled the cover artwork in a follow-up post. It is a double album.

Part 1 comprises of eight songs.

Part 2 consists of two long songs, linked by a spoken word piece.

Ghosteen
Fireflies
Hollywood

The songs on the first album are the children.

The songs on the second album are their parents.

Ghosteen is a migrating spirit.
