Auckland's Walks Shares Single 'Still Young; Getting Older' + Video
Tāmaki Makaurau's Walks, the solo project of home recording artist Frankie Busfield, last year released his very fine Ricochet EP via emerging local net-label IGG, and has now returned with the lead track from his forthcoming album Under The Influence. The ex-Host Club member's new single 'Still Young; Getting Older' is an ideal fit for the changing of the seasons, conjuring reflective moods while wrapping listeners in warm blankets of dreamy guitar jangle and the artist's understated husky vocal tones. The evocative tune is complemented by lovely clip conveying the endless expanses of Auckland's leafy suburbs – keep on the lookout for Walks' nine track collection releasing in late September and experience ‘Still Young; Getting Older’ right here...
‘Still Young; Getting Older’ is streamable now on Bandcamp, Soundcloud and Spotify. 'Under The Influence' releases on Monday 30th September.
