Auckland's Those Lethals Share Single 'Thrill Of The Hunt'
Tāmaki Makaurau's Those Lethals are currently in the midst of their spring tour of Aotearoa, taking over stages in their hometown and Whangarei this weekend, and concluding in Pōneke the following week. Fronted by Elizabeth Cameron and Lane Twigden with Guy Harrison (Avantdale Bowling Club, Balu Brigada), Timothy Shacklock (Pop Up Globe) and Raj Bakker, the guitar-pop crew have unleashed their sparkling first release in over a year 'Thrill Of The Hunt', an infectiously catchy head-bobbing number containing deceptively spooky depths. Cameron opened up about the horror movie-like narrative of Those Lethals' new tune...
“Thrill Of The Hunt is a song is set in a scary movie nightmare complete with insect plagues and a cowering Hollywood heroine. However, that doe-eyed trope is questioned as the song explores a moment of bravery in a dangerous dreamscape.”
