Anthropozine Fest 2019 is coming at you this October for a night of art and live music to shake up your Saturday!
Art-wise, we will be exhibiting some bold and brilliant pieces from artists featured in Anthropozine journal - a Wellington-based online publication come digital campfire that curates art and storytelling with a focus on climate action. There will be a cheeky little live poetry performance by Hāmihi (Harry Townsend) to bring the meaning behind the art to life as well as a special live-art performance by Maisie Chilton Tressler.
Music-wise, Those Lethals, Androgynous Lemon, and O & The Mo will be keeping the toes a tapping and the heads a swaying all night long. The acts will be sharing some tunes which not only really rock the jam but also touch on themes of a call to action to respond to the climate crisis our sweet Mother Earth is facing.
Taking place at Caroline - Wellington's best dive bar/burger joint/music venue - there'll be no sense left un-dazzled by the first annual Anthropozine Fest. Come along early for a bite and a crafty and then stick around for art, poetry, and music from 8pm. See you there, mates!
