The Melbourne-based expat has also unveiled the comparatively jaunty title track to her latest collection, still delivering emotional gut punches while regaling listeners with a triumphant chamber-pop arrangement of keys, percussion and horns. Please Daddy's accompanying text by Clarence Bigley aptly describes Chadwick's new material as "like being burned over “green wood,” like staying a little too late at the party, like sleeping a little too long in the middle of the day and waking up not knowing where you are" – wrap your ears around 'Please Daddy' here...

'Please Daddy' releases on 24th January via Rice Is Nice Records and Sinderlyn Records.
