Strangelove Shares 'Songs I Could Never Cry To' EP

C.C. / Tuesday 18th February, 2020 1:46PM

Aotearoa imprint Noa Records is certainly on a roll, releasing in December LEAO's magical Ghost Roads collection and hosting the unforgettable free Pacific Mystery event on Waitangi Day in Tāmaki Makaurau's Aotea Square, featuring David Feauai-Afaese aka Dave Urso's aforementioned project alongside friends and contributing artists Strangelove, Tei., WhyFi and more. Noa Records continue to break new ground in South Pacific music with Songs I Could Never Cry To, the moving latest EP from Strangelove, the recording alias of Nāvakatoa Tekela-Pule. Described as "a cathartic project composed by Strangelove within a single day before its release," the urgency of the artist's rapid-fire production method doesn't at all dull the timeless power of his message, over three emotionally tender tracks. Pōneke punters have the rare opportunity to experience Strangelove and LEAO live at this coming Friday's Noa Records showcase, happening at experimental hub Pyramid Club, prep your ears with Songs I Could Never Cry To...
