Ōtautahi songwriter Kate Owen has revealed haunting and dramatic new single 'The Void', the third release from her debut album Not A Proper Girl, dropping in mid-March. Featuring Jonty O'Connor (Zane 2000) on drums and a swarm of swirling guitars, Owen's 'The Void' offers a powerful rumination on inner turmoil and need for us to support each other during dark times, accompanied by an evocative self-created clip using archival film footage of interiors of mental health institutions. Owen's forthcoming record will also feature contributions from Shane Bollingford, Tom Harris, Moses Robbins, Anita Clark (Motte), Elmore Jones, Ben Edwards and Mike Fordham – catch the artist touring Not A Proper Girl with band in March / April and experience 'The Void' below...
