Bic Runga and Cass Basil (Tiny Ruins, Carnivorous Plant Society) have combined their considerable talents to bless us with ‘Let’s Just Stay in Bed’, the groovy debut drop from their new project King Sweeties. Written and recorded at Bic’s home studio The Box, 'Let’s Just Stay in Bed' is built off the duo’s bouncing rhythm section, cooking up a playful post-punk strut. With Cass on vocals and bass, and Bic on drums, synth, and production, the track was mixed by Kody Neilson and comes as the first taster of their upcoming EP We are the Bosses.
