Milly Tabak & The Miltones Share Video For 'Honest Woman'

While we're all still toasting the local heroes recognised at last night's Taite Music Prize ceremony, Auckland Live Best Independent Debut 2018 winners Milly Tabak & The Miltones reveal a video for 'Honest Woman', the title track to the Tāmaki Makaurau group's much anticipated second album. Filmed by Christian Tjandrawinata (Wyre Studio) and incorporating vintage material from the Tabak family archive, the lush new clip provides plenty of nostalgic visuals and scenic footage (including the farm on which the singer lives), to sweep you up in Milly Tabak's heartwarming, Americana-tinged ode to personal growth.

Milly Tabak enthused about the panoramic video, created with the support of NZ On Air's New Music Single funding scheme: "Creating videos is a little bit tricky when you can't bring the whole team together... But thanks to some footage we took during a photoshoot and some home videos from my childhood, the brilliant Sam Linstrom has been able to create a video that truly reflects what 'Honest Woman' is about. I love it."

'Honest Woman' is out now on streaming services. The album is expected to be released in July on vinyl via Border Music and digitally via DRM.
