Delaney Davidson Announces Auckland, Wellington & Lyttelton Live Shows
Delaney Davidson was the much-deserved co-winner of the 2020 Best Country Music Artist award with Barry Saunders (The Warratahs) over the weekend, for their exceptional 2019 collaborative album Word Gets Around. The Lyttelton songwriting powerhouse brought us a smashing run of livestream events during Aotearoa's lockdown period and beyond, and has now revealed he'll be making a highly anticipated return to the stage this coming July. Fans need wait no longer for a live in-the-flesh appearance from the musical enigma, and with any luck you may be able to get your dance on too, as restrictions surrounding live events are looking to lift in the near future (fingers crossed). Don't dare miss Davidson's historic return to Tāmaki Makaurau's The Wine Cellar for two shows, Pōneke's Meow and his hometown's Wunderbar in June and July.
The master of stage and screen is evidently looking forward to these events, declaring he "relishes the chance to look into your eyes and get in touch with the energies in the room, channeling the collective conciousness and summoning forth the helpers from other worlds to enrich our common future and cast aside all doubts from the past!"
