French Concession Unveils Debut Album 'The Garden Of Synthetic Sentiments'

Aotearoa / Hong Kong electronic visionary French Concession aka Ella Chau Yin Chi ushers in a new era with The Garden Of Synthetic Sentiments, an ambitious debut album project released concurrently with self-directed / animated videos 'Sentimentos' and 'Tower Lisa'. Shot in Shanghai and Hong Kong respectively and artworks in their own right, these works provide background context for the eleven track The Garden Of Synthetic Sentiments, which is fittingly rounded off by remixes of earlier single 'End of Time' by indi and Junus Orca. Described by the artist as "a collection of re-constructed memories from youth," French Concession's new collection revisits the everyday as an otherworldly experience, via an intricately constructed amalgam of future-gazing dream-pop and synth-driven instrumental excursions.
