Dark Divinity National Tour Announced

Pōneke melodic death metal masters Dark Divinity were originally set to tour their epic debut EP Messianic in May, before Covid-19 threw a spanner in everyone's works. Back with renewed focus in our post-lockdown era, Dark Divinity are one of the first local acts to reveal a bona fide national tour, with three headline events across Te Ika ā Māui and Te Wai Pounamu locked in for July, August and September. Joining Dark Divinity for their first shows in almost a year will be heavy hitters Into Orbit, Graves, Soul Void, Altar Of Achlys, Stepped Out and Plague Of The Fallen – grab your ear plugs and experience the intensity at the dates below...

DARK DIVINITY have gone from strength to strength since their formation in 2017, self-releasing a handful of singles to underground critical acclaim, supporting metal legends AT THE GATES and THE HAUNTED on their NZ tour, and recently teaming up with Australian label TRENCH RECORDS for the release of their debut E.P. MESSIANIC.

The event will be DARK DIVINITY’s first show in almost a year, and the band have prepared a fresh setlist for the occasion densely packed with frantic riffing, melodic hooks and pummelling blast beats. The set will include a generous helping of previously unheard material the band have written in the past year, along with their debut E.P. MESSIANIC performed in its entirety.
