Entitled 'Cooties', the new single from the all-star team of Matthew Crawley (The Conjurors), Dave Taylor (Magic Factory), Gareth Shute (Fever Party) and James Dansey (Hang Loose, The Sneaks, Spring Break) is a soul-punk rip-snorter, with red-hot vocal oomph recalling the likes of Memphis rock 'n' rollers Oblivians or party-starting mystery men The Mummies, as well as the assorted Aotearoa powerhouses that make up the Stink Magnetic roster. The song's DIY video has all the elements of a classic clip: giant ants, radioactive waste, visual puns, a creepy baby, celebrities including Spider-Man and Jerry Seinfeld, and lots of heart.
