Thundercat Reveals Original Song For 'ThunderCats Roar'

Bass wizard and durag lover Thundercat aka Stephen Lee Bruner executes the perfect finishing move to this week, via today's surprise reveal of a song recorded especially for Cartoon Network's revival of his animated namesake show ThunderCats. Shared on the LA artist's Twitter account today with the words "I always wanted to be a thundercat," 'Grune’s Tune' aka 'Grune the Destroyer Song' is an infectiously grooving original number telling the epic tale of Grune The Destroyer, a fearsome general who betrayed the King's trust and was fired into outer space (by a magic bass guitar) for his bad guy crimes.
