Pōneke’s Raw Collective are here to help us look forward to bright things on the horizon, especially in light of yesterday’s disappointing developments for Aotearoa’s gig community, with a fresh video for their new song ‘Waiting For Sunrise’, out digitally this coming Friday. Squeezing all ten members of the multi-instrumental hip hop group onto a single screen, the clip for ‘Waiting For Sunrise’ was created by Ben Stewart Photography and filmed live at Manky Deckaid Art Gallery and The Surgery Studios. MC Raw Deazy and vocalist Moira Jean bring oodles of infectious energy to the latest single from the big band’s upcoming album The Good Things — experience a groove-heavy taste of what’s to come and catch them in action at Kapati’s Raumati Social Club this weekend…
