Lockdown-addled Tāmaki residents will be cherishing those party memories and fiending to get back amongst it, with today's launch of a new clip for Baby Zionov's student radio hit 'Bada Ooom. (A Ba Nup Nup Nup Nup Nup Na Na Bada Oooom.)', brought to visual life by creator / director Madison van Staden (who also made a fab video for Fimo's 'Sugar Soap').
A heart-melting banger featuring lyrical contributions from Amelia Berry (Amamelia, Babyteeth), the lengthily titled single is paired with an ever-shifting kaleidoscope of evocative collaged images and shapes sourced from vintage print publications, incorporating bees, butterflies, skin care and lots more — imbuing the playfully catchy tune with a healthy timeless glow.
