Chris William 'Light Shines Above' EP Release National Tour Announced

Another highly talented Christchurch jazz school graduate appears: songwriter and bassist Chris William. This year William has been rolling out singles from his second EP Light Shines Above, the follow up to his dreamy, electronic-pop debut Out Of Sight. If all goes to plan, his grand Aotearoa EP tour will finally go ahead this October, coinciding with official release day Friday the 25th of September in his home town Ōtautahi, with support from The Swan Sisters and Ryan Fisherman. The tour will end with a boo(!) and a bang on Halloween night at Tāmaki Makaurau's Wine Cellar, featuring local talents Nick Dow and BEING.. Chris William's second EP, Light Shines Above, is set for release on September 25th. Self-recorded and produced, it draws from soul, folk, and electronic influences to explore music in all its dimensions.

Before the release of 'Light Shines Above' we can look forward to another single + video release, 'Only Way' coming soon...

Coinciding with the release (after cancellations due to COVID19), Chris is embarking on a six-date nationwide tour over October, bringing his cinematic sound to the theatre of life.

Along the way, Chris will be supported by some of New Zealand's finest including; Nick Dow, BEING., The Swan Sisters, Ryan Fisherman and Your Indigo.
